More than 70 UK MPs and peers have written to Prime Minister Andy Burnham urging support for a bill banning the development of artificial superintelligence. The letter, published by campaign group ControlAI, asks the government to back the bill and pursue an international agreement using the UK's G20 presidency. The government has stated it does not support the proposed legislation.
