China Calls for Global AI Governance

China's Foreign Ministry called for stronger global AI governance and international cooperation to ensure the technology benefits humanity and does not get out of control. Spokesperson Guo Jiakun emphasized the need for a multilateral framework, stating no single country or enterprise can develop effective solutions alone. He announced China supports the UN playing a lead role in this effort.
