Coquitlam-based Moment Energy opened Megafactory 1 in Surrey to convert retired EV batteries into energy storage systems for data centres, hospitals, and factories. The project took six weeks from announcement to operation after securing supply-chain relationships with Nissan North America and Mercedes-Benz Energy.
