Restate raises $20M Series A for AI agent durability

Berlin-based Restate raised a $20 million Series A led by Singular, with Redpoint Ventures and Capital One Ventures participating. The startup provides durable workflow infrastructure that keeps multi-step AI agent processes running through crashes and network interruptions. It has closed multiple six- and seven-figure contracts and counts Replit among its customers, positioning it against Temporal, which recently raised $550 million at a $12.55 billion valuation.
