Cloudflare launches services for private origins today, generally available to customers with the Private Origins entitlement. The feature allows users to point proxied DNS records at private IPs, enabling WAF, caching, and bot management without exposing internal APIs or requiring inbound firewall exceptions. Engineering work targets a closed beta for private-to-private traffic in early 2027.
