Utah Charges Kalshi Execs Over Prediction Markets

Utah Attorney General Derek Brown filed criminal charges against Kalshi co-founders Tarek Mansour and Luana Lopes Lara on Wednesday. The charges include 12 counts of online gambling promotion and one count of a pattern of unlawful activity. The CFTC subsequently sued Utah to defend the platform's federal registration.
