University of Tennessee sues Anthropic over patents

The University of Tennessee Research Foundation sued Anthropic on Monday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware, accusing the AI company of building its models on patented neural network methods without a license. The complaint, unsealed on Tuesday, is thought to be the first patent infringement case against Anthropic.
