a16z Launches $42M Unaccredited Academy

Andreessen Horowitz launched a $42 million unaccredited academy in San Francisco on Tuesday. The first class of about 50 students starts September 2027 tuition-free, with $50,000 in compute credits and a $5,000 travel budget. From 2028 it seeks approval for a two-year program charging $60,000 to $90,000 a year, similar to elite private universities.
