CATL targets up to 20,000 vehicles with sodium-ion batteries

CATL expects 10,000 to 20,000 electric vehicles with its sodium-ion batteries to enter the market this year. The Chinese battery maker also unveiled its first stationary storage system, the Tener Sodium Energy Storage System, and can produce 100 GWh of sodium-ion capacity within three to five years.
