Windscribe, NordVPN and ExpressVPN signed an open letter urging Canada to amend Bill C-22, which would force encrypted services to build backdoors and retain user metadata for up to six months. The coalition warns the law would weaken security for everyone, and some firms say they will leave Canada if it passes unchanged.
