Himax founders net $1B from car display chips

Taiwanese car display chip maker Himax, which supplies driver integrated circuits to Ferrari and Volkswagen, has made its founders billionaires. Biing-seng Wu built a career developing chips that control pixel lighting in flat-screen displays. The founders now hold a combined net worth of $1 billion.
