Mexico unveils $9,000 Olinia EV for 2027

President Claudia Sheinbaum unveiled Olinia, Mexico's first homegrown electric vehicle, starting under $9,000 in 2027. The six-seat compact city car uses a 14.7 kWh LFP battery for 62 miles of range and a 13.5 kW motor limited to 31 mph. It charges overnight on a standard household outlet.
