Salad Chains Hit by Cyclosporiasis Fears

Cyclosporiasis fears drove foot traffic down 7.1% at Chopt, 7.4% at Panera Bread, and 3.1% at Sweetgreen on July 11. Sweetgreen shares fell 23.3% over five days. Taco Bell, linked to the outbreak, saw traffic drop 5.8% nationally and 11.5% in Michigan. Nearly 7,000 people may be sickened.
