Pranksters remotely disabled electric rickshaws and loaders by exploiting weak authentication in battery management systems (BMS) via apps like BAT BMS, Lossigy, and Epoch Li-ion. The vulnerability allows anyone within Bluetooth range to connect and disable the battery output. The government directed Google and Apple to remove at least seven such apps.
