Tandem solar cell sets 25.5% efficiency record with CIGS-perovskite design

A Berlin team from HZB and CSMB at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin achieved 25.5% efficiency in a tandem solar cell using CIGS and perovskite layers. The previous record for this material combination and cell size was 24.6%.
