Brian created OrthoRoute, a GPU-accelerated KiCad plugin for routing massive PCBs with thousands of nets. It uses a Manhattan lattice layout and adapts the PathFinder algorithm from FPGA routing. OrthoRoute handles surface-mount components only, with blind and buried vias, and converges on a layout iteratively.
