ARIA bans unlicensed AI music from charts

The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) will exclude AI-generated music from its sales charts, effective this week. The decision follows IFPI principles backed by Sony Music, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group, requiring AI recordings to be substantially human-made and properly licensed.
