Gemini app rolls out side panel redesign

Google is rolling out a Gemini app update on Android and iOS that simplifies navigation. The side panel moves Search to the top right, adds chat history filters, and introduces a Customize section where skills replace Gems and are activated with the @ symbol. A Settings redesign groups options into Preferences, Data and privacy, and Support.
