Paradromics Implants First Connexus BCI in Clinical Study

Paradromics completed the first surgical implantation of its Connexus BCI in the FDA-approved Connect-One Early Feasibility Study at University of Michigan Health. The device records neural signals via a high-density microelectrode array and transmits them wirelessly to an external receiver. The study evaluates long-term safety and ability to restore speech and computer control for people with severe motor impairment.
