Turning off Always-on Display on a Pixel Watch 4 nearly doubled its battery life from 36 hours to 72 hours during a trip without a charger. The watch ended day one with over 70% battery remaining instead of the usual 50%. Tilt-to-wake still worked but required a half-second delay.
