Blockchain Association CEO Exits After Clarity Act Fails

Summer Mersinger is stepping down as CEO of the Blockchain Association, the crypto industry's leading advocacy group, days after the Senate failed to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. Kristin Smith, the group's original CEO, returns on an interim basis starting October 16. Smith will keep her role as president of the Solana Policy Institute.
