Rheinmetall Open-Sources Battlesuite Protocol

German defense company Rheinmetall has open-sourced the onboardapi interface library and middleware for its Battlesuite connected weapon system. The library is built on the ddkit SDK and uses the Data Distribution Service (DDS) standard to enable reliable, low-latency communication between sensors and software. It supports multi-language integration via wrappers for Java, C#/.NET, and Python.
