Cambodia Claims Scam Compound Crackdown

Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Manet said Wednesday the country had completely dismantled all large-scale scam compounds, without presenting significant new evidence. Experts and foreign governments say Cambodia has not done enough to prosecute the criminal networks or the elites who protected them. The compounds forced hundreds of thousands of people into cyberscam operations that cost victims tens of billions.
