ZuriQ raises $25.5M for 2D quantum chips

ZuriQ, a Swiss quantum computing spinout from ETH Zürich, raised $25.5 million in a seed round led by Quantonation. The company builds trapped-ion processors on a two-dimensional architecture, aiming to scale qubit count beyond legacy one-dimensional designs. It has demonstrated a 3x3 array of nine individually controlled ions.
