An indie hacker built LemonKnows, a food and product safety platform, on Oracle Cloud Free Tier. The database holds 1.7M products, 41,000 recalls, and 100,000 complaints. A custom stats_cache lookup table replaced slow PostgreSQL COUNT(*) queries, dropping page load times from 45 seconds to 66ms.
