OpenCV 5.1.0 releases new AVX-512 and AVX-VNNI optimizations alongside expanded FP8 support and RISC-V RVV vector kernels. The update removes the classic DNN engine in favor of the new one from OpenCV 5.0. It also adds NVIDIA CUDA improvements and an OpenGL-based 3D visualizer for meshes and point clouds. The software is available from GitHub.
