Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Elite Extreme Gen 6 at its Snapdragon Summit. The chips use TSMC's 2nm N2P process, feature Oryon V4 CPU cores up to 5.0GHz, and introduce offset packaging for better cooling. The Extreme tier differentiates by features, not just speed, and will power 2027 flagship phones.
