Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon Sound Elite Gen 2 chip for earbuds, headphones, audio glasses and camera-equipped earbuds. It doubles the AI capabilities of the Snapdragon S7 Gen 1, enabling on-device translation and sound amplification. The chip supports aptX Lossless and XPAN Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth, with Wi-Fi 6E for always-available AI without hurting battery life or audio quality.
