Getlink CEO Yann Leriche warned that unresolved software problems in the EU's Entry/Exit System (EES) could delay biometric checks for passenger vehicles at the Channel Tunnel. The company invested €80 million preparing terminals with 224 biometric kiosks, but the EU-supplied software is not ready. The next milestone for car biometric registration is 6 September.
