NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory has landed five rovers on Mars over the past 30 years. Two remain operational: Perseverance (landed 2021) and Curiosity. The rovers include Sojourner (1997), Spirit, and Opportunity. Sojourner operated for 83 days, taking over 550 photos and analyzing rock composition.
