A new open-source research workspace called Panel lets an AI agent work alongside a user in a unified interface. The tool integrates chat, files, PDFs, and Jupyter notebooks into a single dock. The agent can create custom viewers and apps on demand. It is currently an early build for testers and requires Claude Code to function.
