Google Launches Gemini TTS Voice Cloning Models

Google released Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Flash-Lite TTS on Wednesday, rolling out in the Gemini API and AI Studio. Flash TTS clones a voice from a 30-second sample with consent checks, supports over 100 languages and 2,000 preset voices, and targets games, audiobooks and podcasts. Flash-Lite TTS handles cheaper dubbing and voice agents.
