AI stories preferred to human-written ones - study

A study published in Judgment and Decision Making found readers rated ChatGPT-generated short stories as more absorbing and higher quality than human-written ones. Led by Villanova University's Dr Deena Weisberg, 1,682 adults participated, and many could not distinguish AI from human authorship.
