Nashville Council backs eminent domain to block zoo data center

The Nashville Metro Council approved Mayor Freddie O'Connell's plan to use eminent domain to block a 23-acre data center campus beside the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. The 27-5 vote lets the city force the property's purchase instead of the $700 million installation.
