US Bill Would Force VPNs to Block Piracy Sites

A new US bill, H.R. 10364 or the American Copyright Protection Act of 2026, would require ISPs, DNS resolvers and VPNs to block foreign piracy sites for connections from the United States. Court orders would apply within 14 to 30 days, with faster deadlines for time-sensitive live events. Small providers under 100,000 monthly users are exempt.
