UK satellite manufacturer NewOrbit raised $18.5 million in Series A funding to commercialise Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO). The oversubscribed round was led by Voyager Ventures. The company builds satellites with proprietary propulsion to operate for up to five years in the challenging 200-300 km orbital band.
