Anthropic sped up claude.ai and its desktop app roughly 3x during a two-week August sprint, cutting fresh-load time to a typeable page from 3.1 seconds to 0.55 at the 75th percentile. An internal Claude model found bottlenecks, built benchmarks and shipped over 3,000 changes with no customer-facing incidents or rollbacks.
