Turning an HP ProDesk 600 G6 into a Tailscale Peer Relay fixed slow remote transfers. The connection previously bounced through Tailscale's shared servers, causing buffering and lag. Enabling Peer Relays in the admin console took five minutes, required no terminal work, and made file transfers, Jellyfin streaming, and Emby watch parties faster.
