DigitalOcean Launches Managed Agents Platform

DigitalOcean opened public preview of Managed Agents, a runtime combining sandbox, inference and data for AI agents. It bills CPU per second at $0.044 per vCPU-hour and memory at $0.0095 per GB-hour, targeting bursty agent workloads that idle between token calls. Sessions run in Firecracker microVMs with sub-second starts and roughly 300ms resumes, and connect to over 16,000 tools across 500 providers.
