Oracle 23ai introduces a real BOOLEAN column type, SELECT without FROM, multi-row inserts, IF [NOT] EXISTS for DDL, and direct joins for UPDATE and DELETE. Extended VARCHAR2 types and JSON syntax also improve. These features reduce boilerplate and simplify migration scripts for daily database work.
