Two 1988 Ford Escort examples, the cheapest Pony and most expensive GT, are both Oxford White, built at Wayne Stamping and Assembly in Michigan, and sold new from the San Jose sales office. The Escort name first appeared on the Anglia 100E wagon in the mid-1950s.
