Pixel Users Locked Out After September 2026 Update

Some Pixel owners cannot get past their lock screen after installing the September 2026 update. The bug mainly hits users with pattern locks, though at least one PIN user reported the same problem. Google appears aware, but the issue is not yet widespread. The update also added a revamped Pixel VIPs widget and expanded Gboard scam protection.
