Microsoft Adds Autopilot Agent, Usage-Based Billing

Microsoft is launching Autopilot, a proactive Copilot agent built on OpenClaw, and splitting the app into Home, Code, and Autopilot. Autopilot gets its own cloud computer and runs via @mention in Teams or Outlook. Microsoft is shifting Autopilot, Code, and Cowork to usage-based billing, ending flat-rate subsidies. Autopilot enters private preview in late September.
