Telesat donates satellite capacity for Venezuela's recovery efforts

Canadian firm Telesat donated satellite capacity from its Telstar 19 Vantage satellite to Venezuelan telecom partner Top Comunications following earthquakes on June 24 that killed nearly 2,300 people. The donation restores critical communications and emergency infrastructure in Caracas and La Guaira where digital services dropped sharply after physical destruction.
