Frankfurt Deploys 100th Electric Bus

Frankfurt operates 109 electric buses out of 418 total, marking the 100th deployment. Transport Councillor Yannick Schwander states this symbolizes a transformation since 2018. The fleet uses power from the Heddernheim waste-to-energy plant, where renewable energy share is around 47 per cent. Plans include converting the entire fleet by 2033 and adding ten buses in 2027.
