Netflix hires Steve Wilson, a former Apple Podcasts executive, to lead its podcast strategy as a consultant. This move occurs while the company cuts 6% of its workforce, eliminating around 1,000 jobs globally. Wilson previously managed partner relations at Apple Podcasts for nearly 15 years starting in 2006.
