BiRefNet ToonOut, a fine-tuned version of BiRefNet by sprited, achieves 99.5% pixel accuracy on anime background removal, up from 95.3%. The model was fine-tuned on 1,228 curated anime images and runs on Replicate under an MIT license. It outputs RGBA cutouts or alpha mattes at resolutions from 256 to 2048 pixels.
