New Apple CEO John Ternus plans to overhaul the company, cutting middle-management roles and releasing products year-round instead of on the usual spring-and-fall cadence. Apple has dismissed several engineering program managers, including roughly half a dozen directors, who have weeks to find new roles or face layoffs later this year. Ternus also wants more services revenue.
