Zoox Recalls All Robotaxis Over Smoke Detection Flaw

Zoox is recalling all 105 autonomous robotaxis because the self-driving software may fail to detect heavy smoke around emergency scenes. The recall follows a June 20 incident where an unoccupied vehicle entered an active fire scene. Zoox deployed a software update on July 15 to improve smoke recognition.
