Noble Carbon, a Pittsfield, Massachusetts startup, has developed smart circuit breakers that adjust power to large appliances in real time, letting EV chargers fit into at-capacity home electrical panels without costly upgrades. The company is partnering with utility Eversource to install breakers in up to 200 multifamily units in Massachusetts and is pursuing UL certification.
